THE Camping Barn
a refuge for the adventurer
The Camping Barn offers the adventurer a safe haven in the beautiful wilderness of the Cheviot hills.
There are two wooden sleeping platforms at either side of the barn and a small single room downstairs for you to snuggle up in your own sleeping bag and roll mat. Comfortable chesterfield chairs and sofa around the wood burning stove offer an opportunity to get cosy after a day exploring the wilderness. You are welcome to bring your dog.
Toilets and hand basins are situated close by in an outhouse plus a basic (warm) shower. There is a kitchen with gas hobs and gas oven and fridge. Water comes straight from a spring and it is recommended you boil before use. The kitchen contains cutlery, crockery and saucepans. Plenty of tables and benches enable practical communal eating. Please bring your own towels and tea towels.
Due to the current Covid-19 situation we are only allowing a maximum of eight people to stay in the camping barn at any one time. Pricing continues to be £15 per person. Under 12s are free. You will get sole occupancy of the barn no matter how small your group. Click on the 'book accommodation' tab above to make a booking or feel free to contact us for further information.
Please note check-in time is from 4pm unless by arrangement. Please depart by 10.00am on day of departure.
